Social Golfing MembershipONE TIME INITIATION FEE: $1500.00 The non-refundable initiation fee is subject to Florida sales tax and payable upon activation of the membership. ANNUAL DUES: $2000.00 Annual dues are collected on a fiscal year basis from September 1 to August 31 and will be pro-rated from the month of joining. The annual dues are subject to Florida state sales tax and paid upon activation. RESTAURANT MINIMUM: $1000.00 The restaurant minimum applies toward food and non-alcoholic beverages. Tax and gratuity are not included. When a membership is activated after the beginning of the fiscal year the minimum will be pro-rated from the month of joining. If the restaurant minimum is not spent by year-end the remaining balance will be charged to the member account. CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FEE: $30.00 PER MONTH A fee of $30.00 per month will be charged to the members monthly bill to buildup a capital equipment fund for updating and replacing such items as golf course equipment, air conditioning for the pro shop and clubhouse and kitchen equipment, etc. INSURANCE DEDUCTIBLE FEE: $20.00 PER MONTH A fee of $20.00 per month will be charged to the member's monthly bill to build a reserve for repairing and replacing damage or loss from catastrophic events or certain liability occurrences that are not covered by insurance. APPLICATION PROCESS: Candidates for Social Membership must complete and submit an application form and a $250.00 deposit. Two (2) full members must sponsor a candidate. The Membership Committee will consider the application. Upon committee approval the application will be posted for 2 weeks. The Board of Directors will notify the candidate upon election to Social Membership. If placed on a waiting list the candidates name will be listed in the order that the application was received. In the event that an approved candidate withdraws, a processing fee of $100.00 will be deducted from the $250.00 application. POLICIES & RESTRICTIONS: Social Members must abide by all rules, regulations and fees written in the policy manual and the by-laws. Clubhouse Privileges - Participation in all social events in the club, excluding golf functions
- Utilize clubhouse dining facilities for lunches, dinners, private parties and weekly card games
- Monthly charge privileges.
- Reciprocal club dining privileges from May 1 through October 31.
- Year round reciprocal privileges at The Collier Athletic Club as long as Royal Palm Country Club has these privileges.
Golfing Privileges: Memorial Day - Labor Day - Arrange tee times 48 hours in advance
- Golf at any time during operational hours.
- Use of the practice facilities at any time during operational hours.
- Charged the current reciprocal fee whether walking or riding.
- All guests of Social Members are charged the current non-related guest fee plus cart fee.
- Play in golf shop sponsored events from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
- Social members do not have reciprocal golf privileges.
Social Membership Golfing Privileges: October 1 - The Day Before Memorial Day - Arrange tee times no more than 24 hours in advance.
- Play no earlier than 1:30 p.m. or later depending on the number of tee times taken by Full Members.
- Play in an afternoon open play shot gun that begins before 1:30 p.m. provided it is not a golf shop sponsored event.
- Use of the practice facilities after 1:30 p.m. or 30 minutes prior to the Social Members tee time. This includes driving range, practice putting green and short game practice area.
- Charged the current related guest fee plus the cart fee for 18 holes of golf and half of the current related guest fee plus the cart fee for 9 holes of golf whether walking or riding.
- All guests of Social Members are charged the current guest fee plus the cart fee.
- Participation in golf shop sponsored events as a guest of a Full Member. The event fee, guest fee & cart fee must be charged to the Full Member.
